BI-LINGUAL (FRENCH/ENGLISH) CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing telephone inquiries from customers with an outstanding level of service as well as preparing administrative paperwork related to customer contracts.

Responsibilities:

Create an excellent customer service experience by:

  • Responding to and solving customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
  • Responding to customer inquiries with accurate information and updating loan information as required;
  • Following up with customers to gain missing information and settle customer issues;
  • Coordinating loan documentation and required information
  • Verifying and updating customer information

Who You Are:

  • Previous experience in a customer service capacity is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Language: TFG Financial requires individuals who are fully fluent in both French and English.

TFG offers a wide range financing solutions to commercial and industrial sectors including heavy equipment, transportation, mining, oil, gas, manufacturing, construction and government infrastructure.

The Bilingual Senior Collections Representative is responsible for the management of and direct interaction with clients with overdue payments and other deficiencies related to their lease and loan accounts along with timely production of the required internal and external weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of delinquent or deficient accounts.

  • Reviewing overdue and/or deficient accounts on a regular basis (daily and or weekly) to keep delinquency and repossession to a minimum and manage repossession in an effective manner.
  • Developing a plan according to policy to correct the overdue and/or deficient account.
  • Executing on the plan including follow-up with the appropriate parties to ensure compliance to the agreed upon timelines contained within the plan.
  • Processing Life and Disability insurance applications, tracking and managing payments received for policies and facilitating claims by clients.
  • Conducting prompt, courteous and persuasive telephone collection calls and following up on past due accounts.
  • Skip tracing files when unable to reach or contact our customers using available information.
  • Issuing of demand letters and notice of intent to sell documents
  • Engaging Legal Counsel, as required
  • Engaging the bailiffs and providing them with initial instructions
  • Monitoring the bailiff activity and providing ongoing guidance and feedback to bailiffs as required
  • Gathering, recording and the management of all costs associated with the collection and/or repossession activity for each client and/or asset
  • Working with remarketers by providing information on the units, keeping an updated list of all assets for sale and making this list accessible to all interested parties including internal and external personnel
  • Upon the sale of any repossessed assets, providing all the documents necessary to transfer title including but not limited to the bill of sale, registration transfer and release of lien documents.
  • Recording all repossession activity for each account / client in the required form and in a timely manner.

: For this role, IFT requires individuals who are fluent in French and English.
